Canada's The Birthday Massacre have served up yet another deliciously danceable delight to spice up your night at a Goth club, at private parties, or even just an enjoyable evening at home. This is a Darkwave/EBM treat! "Kill the Lights" is an interesting mix of stunningly beautiful ethereal musicianship pitted against lyrics that are just the opposite - morose and devoid of hope. "Science" is about calculated control over others, and it does just that as it compels listeners to join in the dance. "Movie" embraces the future while saying farewell to the past. "Red Stars" screams for attention - and gets it. (Athena)
